On 21st of april 2023, LTA made 3 announcements:

• Provision of growth rate of 0.25% of Category C vehicles as at 31st December 2023
• Coe quota to be based on 25% of the vehicles deregistered from April 2022 to March 2023
• Adjustments to the early turnover scheme previously granted

Despite all these changes, the coe for Category C seems to be increasing. This can be attributed to a few factors. One, namely that the subsidies for ETS vehicles were reduced. Secondly, CVES band B vehicles can only be registered by G plate vehicles. Thirdly, the unbated demand for commercial vehicles despite the economy's percevied downturn.

Hence, as coe bidding surges might spike the prices up, it is highly recommended for owners to take action and purchase a vehicle for their business needs.
